FITNESS FIESTA 23

The Physical Education department is conducting a fitness competition "FITNESS FIESTA 23'" from 23rd January to 25th January for the Students and Staff members of Lavasa Campus. 

Venue: Calisthenics Zone, Sports Arena and Football ground, Management block.

Last date of registration: 22nd January. 

Fitness Fiesta is all about how fit and athletic an individual can be. For this an AAHPERD TEST will be conducted for all the participants taking part in the competition. AAHPERD fitness test, where ( AAHPERD ) stands for American Alliance for Health, Physical Education and Recreation and Dance, fitness test. AAHPERD fitness test is a fitness test for boys and girls to measure their upper body strength, endurance, flexibility, coordination, etc.

This test consists of 6 exercises,

• Pull-ups ( for boys ) / Flexed arms hang ( for girls )
• Sit-ups
• Shuttle run
• Standing long ( board ) jump
• 50-meter dash
• 600-meter run/walk.
